Wieck Does NAIAS: Sharing Next-Generation Products and Technologies

Jan 15, 2016 • BY Tim Roberts

Annually attending the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), the Wieck team was back in action in Detroit this week! Working alongside leading global corporations, we are helping Wieck clients debut next-generation products and technologies through a series of satellite media tours, live news streams, and more.

Here’s a peek at what we’ve been up to these past few days!

Working from the Michelin Media Center (largest in the world) located in the Grand River Ballroom of the Cobo Center, we networked among more than 5,000 registered press.
We hosted a live stream on YouTube for Honda’s press conference unveiling the 2017 Honda Ridgeline. More than 7,000 viewers tuned in for the live stream and more than 59,000 people have watched the video as of today.
José Muñoz, executive vice president, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and chairman, Nissan North America, Inc., introduces the Nissan Titan Warrior performance off-road concept.
Acura Precision Concept
Ford GT supercar – For when you find that extra $400k laying around.
With Wieck’s new Senior Vice President Marc Newman leading the pack, the production team worked through our standalone SMT for FCA.
Newman confers with Tim Kuniskis, Head of Passenger Car Brands at FCA, between satellite TV interview segments.
Michele lined up interviews with television producers at news stations around the country.
We worked our butts off as a team and had a lot of fun doing so!

This was our 19th year to serve our automotive clients on-site during the NAIAS in Detroit. One might say we’ve become a fixture at the show. Next up, Chicago!
